Assuming that anybody cares, the reason I haven't posted for a while is I just haven't been feeling frivolous enough. All my energies so far have been directed towards Armchair Revolutionaries and reading dozens of other blogs, mostly from across the pond. I am becoming too politicised and cannot find anything to laugh about that is not accompanied by violent thoughts.
Things pissing me off (for my own benefit more than anyone else's, it's a priority list really of shit that has to stop)
a. Marketers. Here's why:

That means NOTHING. All ad agency website have this kind of BS on it. Their clients know it's bullshit - so why do they not say anything? Because they are all involved - it's a self-consuming industry, and it hurts.
b. Articles on the Guardian website whose frantic Obama loving headlines read like a catalogue of inspirational self-help books. I am too young to have understood exactly what was going on when Blair got elected, but if it was anything like this YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED.
c. That program Big Chef takes on Little Chef that was on last night. The whole premise of the program was flawed in that it assumed the reason for Little Chef's demise was because of the quality of it's food. As if the reason for the demise of Lidos in Britain was because the pools weren't warm enough. A fucking stupid program which merely acts as a vehicle for an idiotic chef who beligerant behaviour towards a CEO who was actually being very accomodating ought to be shown as an example of still existing class divisions in Britain. Of course they don't say that because it's a Channel 4 show where programs of this type are there for the amusement of middle class people who like to laugh at the poor.
d. Gordon Brown's obvious incompetance. Scrap that - everyone's incompetance. I've got a mate who saved £5000 who put it shares on the advise of the bank which has now been reduced to £300.
e. The twats in the equality commission complaining that enough minorities aren't represented in the Commons - seemingly forgetting that we're in a democracy.
f. The fact that my girlfriend wants to see Slumdog Millionare, whereas I want to see The Wrestler. Guess who wins.
That's it. Have a great sodding day.

An interesting debate remarking on the pros and cons of free market capitalism, in reference to ethics. I would have posted this on Ask or Answer, or Armchair Revolutionaries but my personal blog told me it was lonely, and anyway I've been attacking the group blogs a bit much lately.
Anyway, read it if you like, and/or comment here with your own views.
